Streetscapes by Paivi Marshall at 100 Mile diner
Paivi Marshall is often found with her camera, exploring the markets and streets of local towns and the countryside of Northumberland searching for interesting subject matter. She finds much beauty in everyday life and in nature to draw from, as every season presents a new picture. Among her favourite subjects are streets scenes, as well as century homes, old barns and fences, trees, rivers and lakes. Whatever the subject, Paivi uses colour and texture to breathe light and life into her paintings.
A selection of Paivi’s oil paintings focusing on street scenes, both local and from her native Finland, will be showing at the 100 Mile Diner in Warkworth from August 6th to September 1st.
