Juried Art and Photography Show Gala
10th Annual Juried Art and Photography Show & Sale Gala Evening: Friday, March 12 beginning at 7:00 pm. Sponsored and catered by Sprucewood Event Planning and Catering.
Location: Percy Heritage Centre (Memorial Community Hall) 35 Church Street, Warkworth.
**Juror's Talk
The juror for this year’s 10th Annual Juried Art and Photography Show & Sale will give a special artist’s talk to Spirit of the Hills members on Friday, March 5th between 7 and 9:00 pm. Location: Percy Heritage Centre (Memorial Community Hall) 35 Church Street, Warkworth.
Our juror this year is Sylvia Aziz, Associate Professor, Painting/Drawing, Department of Art, Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario.
**Do Least Harm by Ivan Unwin at Galery Art Plus
Opening Reception Friday March 12th from 6-8pm. Show runs until May 1, 2010. Do Least Harm is the solo exhibition of artist Ivan Unwin. Included in his exhibition is a collection of political/ environmental activist works with human rights land abuse issues as subject.

Ivan writes, “Unfortunately my opening clash's with the main show at Warkworth but hope you could include the invite anyway as the show continues through to May 1. The show contains 70 paintings, it is the first time many of these works have ever been shown and a fantastic opportunity for me to see some of the larger works together. All are welcome. Spirit of the Hill’s Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Warkworth Town Hall. Please join us ! Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
