Erwin Rummel “360 DEGREES” - July 9 - Sept 30, 2010
Erwin Rummel has been painting since 1995 and has staged exhibitions since 2005. An artist with an interest in well-structured figurative or representational work, with emphasis on classical compositional rules, he evokes both realism and impressionism in his canvases. He feels that art is a constant learning experience, a reflection of the world that we live in, of its true nature if we take the time to look. Making art is an act of individual imagination spurred by the desire to be different.
Meet the artist for the opening reception of his show on Tuesday, July 13th, from 6 - 7:30pm, at the Campbellford Library, 98 Bridge St. E., Campbellford. The show runs from July 9th - Sept. 30th during regular library hours.
