Joanne Carlen
Joanne Carlen is an oil painter who lives in the farming community of Trent Hills, Ontario. Her subjects are often rurally themed, capturing a moment from a chance encounter in nature or from the simple appreciation of life in the country. The painting process allows her to recall the mood and emotion of that experience which she endeavours to pass along to the viewer via the canvas. Her work has won awards and has been in numerous juried shows.
